The 2014 "LVSUN Cup" Guangzhou Collegiate MBA Badminton Invitational Concludes Successfully

On December 7, the 2014 'LVSUN Cup' Guangzhou Collegiate MBA Badminton Invitational was held at Jinan University's Shaw Gymnasium, with 8 teams from 7 Guangzhou universities' MBA programs and the Jinan MBA LVSUN Badminton Club taking part. LVSUN Group Chairman Mr. Xu Jianhua delivered the opening address.

The competing teams were the Jinan MBA LVSUN Badminton Club, the Jinan University MBA team, the Sun Yat-sen University School of Management team, and the MBA teams of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, South China University of Technology, South China Normal University, Guangdong University of Finance & Economics and Guangdong University of Technology — nearly 200 highly qualified players in all. The tournament used a mixed-team format with five events: men's and women's singles, men's and women's doubles, and mixed doubles.

Despite the biting cold outside, the courts were full of energy. From the start, players and captains competed with careful strategy and teamwork, handling every rally with agility and skill — high clears, drop shots and smashes drawing rounds of applause. Showing tenacious competitive spirit, the Jinan MBA LVSUN Badminton Club's men's doubles pair prevailed in a hard-fought final.
